Welcome Message
We would like to welcome you to Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Primary School. Our School aims to promote a learning environment where all pupils are valued and given the opportunity to develop their full potential. ‘This organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.’
Our Lady Queen of Peace is a welcoming, lively, vibrant, fun, exciting, Catholic community which promotes the Christian values of love, tolerance and forgiveness and where each member can feel valued and cared for. The school motto of ‘To Love and To Share, Believe and Achieve' fully encapsulates the friendly family atmosphere of the school community and the belief that every individual is capable of achieving, is challenged and constantly striving for excellence.
Our website is designed just to give you a flavour of some of the exciting things that we do here, our children, our achievements, our environment and our ethos.
We strive to build positive relationships, encouraging in our pupils a sense of self-respect, respect for others and for all life. We work to build an environment where self-esteem can flourish and pupils can learn self-reliance, independence and the skills for independent learning. We aim to help our pupils become knowledgeable, healthy, responsible and compassionate future citizens.
We will continue to offer a unique opportunity and experience for pupils to be educated in an environment, which allows them to explore and deepen their Christian faith whilst achieving a high standard of education for life. We are dedicated to developing happy and successful students. We want our pupils to be enthusiastic and actively engaged by all that we have to offer. The best way to discover this for yourselves is to come and visit the school. We can assure you that a warm welcome awaits you!
All of us here at Our Lady Queen of Peace look forward to meeting you and working with you and your children in the following years to come.
